Haunted Waters Bourbon Whiskey, and enjoy.
Garnish every so often with another ounce of whiskey.

In a mixing beaker, add 1 sugar cube.
2 to 3 dashes of bitters of your choice, and
at least 2 oz of Haunted Waters Bourbon.

Muddle in a downwards, twisting motion
to break down the sugar cube.
Add 1 molded ice cube, or 10 smaller singular cubes.
Rotate ice in beaker for up to 60 rotations.

Pour over fresh molded cube.
Garnish with fresh lemon peel, orange peel,
and Boudreaux cherry.
George Polimac immigrated
to the United States from
Yugoslavia.
After a long stint with the
railroad, he opened
The Monroe Inn, located on
a stretch of highway between
Detroit and Chicago. This was a
popular route for gangs because it
was the only highway connecting these
critical ports for illegal liquor distribution in the 1920s.
George also used one of his 13 cabins to produce his own liquor and tobacco to sell in the restaurant. After his death, the remnants of a dilapidated still, a whiskey thief (to suck whiskey up from the floorboards) and a bourbon recipe were found.
We pay homage to Grandpa George through his bourbon recipe for Haunted Waters and include his memory on the bottle’s packaging.
